Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor (SCRAMx)
The Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor (SCRAMx) is the only system in the world that can accurately, affordably, and continuously test a subject's alcohol consumption. The SCRAMx is the first alcohol testing system to utilize the science of Transdermal Alcohol Testing in order to determine a person's alcohol consumption. SCRAMx measures the amount of alcohol that migrates through the skin - a predictable result of alcohol consumption - in order to determine a subject's Transdermal Alcohol Concentration (TAC). The SCRAMx system uses state of the art technology that collects, stores and transmits subject alcohol level information without any active participation by the subject or the monitoring agency. SCRAMx's patented tamper detection features, secure and easy data storage and retrieval, and the customizable testing and reporting schedule all make SCRAMx the first cost-effective solution to the problem of long term monitoring of alcohol offenders.
